Who are these classes for?

Our classes are for adults who want to overcome fear of water or simply want to learn or improve their swimming skills.

What do we learn?

We have two types of classes:

Swim Fundamentals:

Feel comfortable in any depth of water with Swim Fundamentals. Intended for adults who have very little or no experience in swimming and want to learn how to swim or refresh some essential swimming skills. For instance, you will learn how to breath with ease while swimming, balance your body in the water, swim on your back and stomach, rotate from front to back while swimming, tread water. Mastering Swim Fundamentals will enable you to swim in deep water with ease and comfort.

Swim Immersion:

Take your swimming to the next level with Swim Immersion. Intended for adults who swim with ease and comfort in deep water and have graduated Swim Fundamentals classes. You will build your swim strokes on essential skills you have acquired in Swim Fundamental classes. You will learn backstroke, freestyle and breaststroke. We incorporate various exercises and swimming sets to increase your endurance and better your technique. These classes will prepare you to swim for fitness and health.

I’m not sure which level should I join?

For your first class you should sign up for Swim Fundamentals classes. If you are more advanced swimmer you will accommodate you as well. There are always more instructors on the deck. It’s better if you underestimate your skills than overestimate them. They will cater to your needs. Swim Immersion classes are for those who have been taking lessons for some time. We will let you know when you are ready to sign up for Swim Immersion.
